Shapiro Capital is an Atlanta-based investment firm founded in 1990. Collectively, the investment professionals have 117 years of industry experience. As of March 31, 2023, Shapiro Capital has $4.00 Billion in AUM. The firm’s growth has primarily been through word-of-mouth referrals in the institutional marketplace.
What We Do
Shapiro Capital focuses on the least efficiently priced companies that generally comprise a minority of the market. Like private equity firms, Shapiro applies a research-intensive, intrinsic value approach that requires an economic justification for each company being evaluated. The firm is deeply engaged with corporate management teams, giving Shapiro Capital the opportunity to independently assess executive skill, industry fundamentals, and the target company’s competitive advantage.
